Your Scout found a surprise when his or her latest issue of Boys’ Life arrived: a special collector’s edition revealing the new name of the Boy Scouts of America’s premier youth publication.
Scout Life represents all of the magazine’s readers, providing the same great content enjoyed over the past 110 years. In the January-February 2021 issue, Scouts can read about boys and girls troops conquering Wisconsin ski slopes while working on the Snow Sports merit badge. They can learn how to pick out the right pair of hiking boots. There’s a cool feature on how to preserve a snowflake. And Scouts can glean helpful tips gathered from the archives of Boys’ Life magazine.
The magazine is still full of fun factoids, beloved comics, and hilarious and corny jokes. If it’s in a Scout’s life, it’s in Scout Life.
Scout Life will continue to be published 10 times a year in two demographic versions: a Cub Scout version tailored to youth ages 5-10 and an older Scout edition for youth ages 11 to 17. The Cub Scout edition features more comics and fun activities while the older Scout issue has stories that can help readers prepare for careers and life. For example, the latest edition has advice on buying your first car.
Online, Scouts can visit scoutlife.org or follow one of the magazine’s social media sites:
