Friends of Scouting Campaign at 82.4% of Goal

 

Friends of Scouting (FOS)  is the annual giving campaign to the New Birth of Freedom Council.  It provides Scouting’s families, volunteers and friends with the opportunity to financially support the

operations of their local council.

The New Birth of Freedom Council’s overall goal is to provide value to South Central Pennsylvania by preparing youth and families in our community to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are guided by the Scout Oath and Law. Scouting ranges from neighborhoods and communities all the way up to National and International networks. Here in our Council locally, we provide rich and meaningful experiences through our in-council Programs, Camps, and Outreach all the while connecting youth to those national and international programs. To accomplish our goal, we also have a financial goal of what we need to ask for in order to continue to provide this invaluable program. Friends of Scouting is a portion of that financial goal, and we are excited to announce that we are at over 82.4% of our goal as of July 15, 2016!

Whether you have donated to the New Birth of Freedom Council in the past, in the last campaign, or this campaign we Thank you and we Welcome you help us reach our goal of preparing responsible and participating citizens right here in our area through our Friends of Scouting Campaign.
