Spring Camporee
We are excited to welcome all troops, crews, and ships to our Spring Camporee, taking place April 25-27, 2025. This event offers an excellent opportunity for Scouts to engage in a variety of outdoor activities and challenges, fostering teamwork and adventure in a vibrant spring setting. Webelos and Arrow of Light dens are also warmly invited to join in on the fun. Don’t miss out on this chance to connect with fellow scouts and experience the thrill of the great outdoors.
Fall Camporee
Prepare for an extraordinary adventure at our Hero in the Making Fall Camporee, taking place September 27-29 at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. This year’s event invites Scouts to journey back in time and relive the historic challenges of Baden-Powell’s defense of Mafeking. Participants will engage in a series of exhilarating night-time activities, including navigating simulated minefields, constructing ladders from Scout staves, and scouting a historic village under the stars. Each patrol will need to harness their skills and teamwork to conquer obstacles and perform first aid on simulated injuries, all while experiencing the thrill of a night adventure. All troops, crews, and ships are welcome to join this immersive experience where history comes alive. Please note that due to the nature of the night-time programming, packs will not be able to attend. Adventure Camp
Adventure Camp offers an engaging evening program from 6:00 – 8:30 PM, designed for Cub Scouts and their families to enjoy together during July. Held from July 7-11, 2025, at the Izaak Walton League in Dallastown, this camp provides a fun, educational experience tailored for Tigers, Wolves, and Bears, with sessions available to fit families’ schedules. The theme for this year’s camp is “Invention Convention,” inviting Scouts to explore creativity and innovation. Registration is $95 before May 15 and $115 thereafter, with sign-up closing one week before each session.
York College Merit Badge College
Join us on October 19, 2024, for the York College Merit Badge College, hosted by the York College Scout Club from 8 AM to 5 PM on the York College of Pennsylvania campus. This event offers Scouts the chance to earn two merit badges while experiencing college life firsthand, with classes held in actual college classrooms and instruction provided by faculty members. For $25, Scouts will enjoy a day of learning, campus exploration, and dining in the college’s dining hall. Adults and parents can also join for lunch at an additional cost of $10.
