BSA Distinguished Conservation Service Award Program

Purpose:
The BSA Distinguished Conservation Service Awards program aims to promote learning and raise public awareness about natural resource conservation. It emphasizes sound stewardship and environmental protection, reinforcing Scouting’s respect for the outdoors.

Goal:
To recognize outstanding contributions to natural resource conservation and environmental protection by Scouting units, Scouts, Venturers, adult leaders, and other individuals, corporations, or institutions.

Award Details:
The BSA Distinguished Conservation Service Award is granted by the National Council, through the local Council’s Conservation Committee, to members of Scouts BSA, Sea Scout, or Venturing units for exceptional service in conservation and environmental improvement.
